As we are given the task to be the evengelizers, sharers of the Gospel in this Epoch of the New Evangelization, may I ask if we are suppose to proclaim a “new gospel for the modern times?”
The answer is of course obvious: ABSOLUTELY NOT!
What we proclaim is the ETERNAL GOSPEL of HIM WHO IS THE ANCIENT OF DAYS, THE BEAUTY EVER ANCIENT AND EVER NEW: JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH, THE ONLY SON OF THE LIVING, MOST HIGH AND ETERNAL GOD!
Why do we have to be afraid of the useless opposition of the world’s systems?
Why do we have to please this putrid, useless system instead of OUR AWESOME GOD?
We are called by HIM WHO MAKES ALL THING NEW, YET HE WHO IS ALSO THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVERMORE!
And all we have to do is TO TRUST AND OBEY!
THE SONG OF SAINT AUGUSTINE, BISHOP OF HIPPO REGIUS.
