I was tuned in to my fave morning show "FACE TO FACE" on TV5 ...

The topic is about a mother named Erlinda who left her 3 month old love child, JR to her Lesbian best-friend, Daisy. (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=317972458278029)

After almost 2 decades of Daisy's selfless love and care, to the point that she had already sacrificed her "love-life" just to be the perfect Mother to JR, Erlinda returns, claiming her "rightful" place as the real mother to her now 19 year old son. But the real reason behind this is because she wanted JR to work and earn a living for her present day husband and family.

It was indeed an outrage!

But even in the midst of this, Daisy exhorts her beloved JR to build the broken relationship that he has with his real Mother, even extending a helping hand in rebuilding their shattered connection!

Daisy has TOTALLY DENIED HERSELF... 

She has TAKEN UP THE SAVING CROSS OF MOTHERHOOD! ...

And she has perfectly followed JESUS in HIS SELFLESS AND LIFE-GIVING LOVE!

What a CHALLENGE to you and I, whether we are in the "camp"of the LGBT community or not!

May we be as SELFLESS as Daisy, so that we may FOLLOW OUR BLESSED LORD AND REDEEMER even in our very meager and insignificant ways!

Daisy, through her sacrifice of herself which is totally united to the SACRIFICE OF THE MOST SWEET CROSS OF OUR REDEMPTION, has become more BEAUTIFUL, more RADIANT, more RESPLENDENT, for she was changed FROM GLORY TO GLORY because of her motherly love for her beloved JR!

May we be challenged as well to TOTALLY DENY OURSELVES, TAKE THE CROSS OF OUR SALVATION AND FAITHFULLY FOLLOW THE BLESSED KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, THE INCARNATE WORD OF THE FATHER'S COVENANT LAW AND THE BREAD OF LIFE IN ALL ITS FULLNESS AND SPLENDOR!
