December 15, 2012...

A typical Saturday evening...

I was busying myself with updating my Facebook page when suddenly, one of my friends shared a video of one of our respective "public servants" who made a statement that God is an "underachiever" and that if she was a God she would actually do a "better job."

A minute or two, GMA 7's "MAGPAKAILANMAN" featured the story of Nanay Silveria.

It is a story of a Mother who struggled to take care of her 3 children who were all afflicted with mental disorder.

But through it all, her only strength is OUR AWESOME GOD, HE WHO WAS DEEMED AS AN "UNDERACHIEVER."

What touched me was the scene that after Nanay Silveria was attacked by her 3 sons due to their loosive moments, she still yearned to be with them on Christmas Eve, on their"noche buena" though they have no food on their table to feast on.

Her neighbor and friend gave her a "hamon" for her to take home and share with her children.

This have made me realize that through this "underachievement" of our GOD, he opens our hearts to HIS SELFLESS LOVE!

The more we grow and change from glory to glory, the more we are open to be selfless and self-giving to our love ones and to our neighbor, the MORE WE SEE HIS FACE IN OTHERS!

INDEED, HIS "FOOLISHNESS" IS OUR WISDOM AND HIS "WEAKNESS IS OUR STRENGTH!"-II CORINTHIANS 1:25

Therefore, I dare to say: BLESSED BE GOD for HIS "UNDERACHIEVEMENTS!"
