GMA 7's show entitled: "WISH KO LANG!" featured Lyn, a 21 year old lady who has a congenital defect. It breaks my heart to see her in such a condition that is too incomprehensible for me to describe and put into words.

I was asking GOD why? Why does she have to suffer such an "ill fate"...

Yet, in seeing the SELFLESS LOVE poured out by her family, especially her Elder Sister and her Mother, I bet GOD was teaching all of us a very timely lesson...

In today's society where those who are considered "great" are those who have a "perfect face, body and personalty", GOD is inviting us to see BEYOND this mere physical and PASSIVE attributes!

In a society where the false and barbaric "mercies" of abortion and medically assisted suicide is considered "just" and "acceptable" to such unfortunate events, our BLESSED LORD is teaching us through LYN that we should always be SELFLESS and our LOVE, in order for it to BE FAITHFUL and TRUE, must BARE THE FRUIT OF LIFE!

Lyn's life has changed her FAMILY, as well as those who encounter her, from GLORY TO GLORY!

In her we see JESUS CRUCIFIED!

And we are INVITED to PARTAKE OF HIS NEW LIFE that is EMPOWERED BY HIS RESURRECTED LOVE!

Lyn teaches us, just like BLESSED MARGARET OF CASTELLO, to see the FACE OF JESUS even in the DISTRESSING DISGUISE OF THE POOR, THE SINNER AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS!  

    

MAY WE HEARKEN TO SUCH A WONDERFUL INVITATION OF OUR GREAT GOD AND KING!
